The 2009 Artificial Intelligence Dissertation Award sponsored by ECCAI, the European Coordinating Committee for Artificial Intelligence has been awarded to:

This Award includes a certificate signed by the ECCAI Chair and 1.500 Euros (which include the travel grant for the Award ceremony).

The Selection Committee has decided to award, in addition, an honourable mention to Hector Palacios, Universitat Pompeu Fabra, for his thesis: "Translation-based approaches to Conformant Planning".

The ECCAI Dissertation Award Ceremony will take place during ECAI-2010 in Lisbon, Portugal.
